Aston - Almost completed!

A bespoke four-bedroom property with quite literally… a twist!

This property was designed with a unique look – with its first floor being offset at an angle to make the most of views. External walls have been finished in a mix of timber and slate to enhance the angle and look of the building. Contrary to its appearance it is also three storey, with a basement perfectly suited to being a games room.

Not only does this property look different, it is constructed unusually too. The external walls are built using ICF – Insulated Concrete Framework. The walls are constructed with an expanded polystyrene former that fits together with a simple tongue and groove design. These then interlock to form walls and concrete is poured within the formwork. In most cases further insulation is not required, which makes these walls highly energy efficient and quick to construct.
