Bicker - Appeal victory

Working with Waller Planning, we took part in an appeal hearing following refusal of planning permission by Boston Borough Council. The site is in a rural area of the District outside of the defined settlement boundary. The Council argued that this site was not suitable for housing, primarily on the basis that it was remote and not sufficiently well served by local services and public transport.

We overcame many of the Planning Inspectors concerns and also successfully argued that the very high level of need for housing justified setting aside the normal presumption against housing in this location.
